If you sign up for coaching  you will be provided with Individual coaching and careful follow-up.  A reference cited in the Mayo Clinic Proc, 2005;80(4):511-524 indicates that there is significantly greater weight loss for people treated with hypnosis and behavior therapy then compared with receiving behavior therapy by itself.  It suggests that hypnosis plus motivation, support and a diet plan is a better treatment for obesity that diet itself.  Those who sign up for online coaching will be sent a  weight history questionnaire that asks questions that get at very deep issues that may be underlying the need to nurture/stuff with food. 

The Forever Slender Hypnosis Weight-Loss Program helps you Identify Foods that Stimulate your particular eating behaviors.

The food plan uses Low Glycemic foods.   It restricts starches and sugar, but not carbohydrates as it increases protein to help normalize insulin resistance and leptin resistance.  You eat delicious meals prepared with small amounts of olive oil, butter, and fine wine.  

You receive recipes for easy food preparation along with a shopping list for three weeks that takes the guess work away and gives you eight Weekly Food Plans to follow.

The booklet describes the Eating Program in Detail and educates and remove myths about hypnosis. A weight chart and measurement chart is also included.  This Program isn't a diet, but a way of eating that really works to lose weight.  

 

The CD, "The Abstinence Habit" helps to stop snacking between meals, after dinner and late at night.  It helps stop overeating and binging..  I recommend that this CD be listened to daily for 21 days and longer to create and reinforce a new habit of effortlessly letting go of eating after dinner and between meals.   

 

Goodbye Fat, Hello Gorgeous is a reinforcement CD that may be listened to daily after week 6.  It should be exchanged intermittently with the Abstinence CD.  Both CD's should be used as long as you desire weight loss to maintain motivation.

 

    ABSTINENCE THINKING

Forever Slender allows you to make a habit of Abstinence Thinking so you no longer respond automatically to food triggers.  You will learn how to control the cravings and urges you never could control before, finally getting control of the weight gain to stop going up, up, up before you go down. With the benefit of hypnosis, easily learn to eat a moderate meal.  Moderate is neither too much nor too little. Moderate is satisfying, but never stuffed.

You can learn to build a good body image and realize that you are not your body.  You will learn to change your thinking as you realize that your thoughts - what you say to yourself about yourself in private - have actually created your body the way it is.  Your thoughts are your blueprint for the future.  Stop your focus on what you don't want and focus only on what you do want.  Type and cut out your ideal weight.  Tape it to the top of your scale.  And every day say to yourself, "I am so grateful that I am at my healthy, slender ideal weight."  Pretend you have a wicker basket tied to your waist, and every time you think a bad thought about your body or your weight, grab it and toss it into your basket so it can disintegrate, then say your success statement, I am so grateful that I am at my healthy, slender ideal weight."
