Refuse to Smoke is an excellent stop smoking program! It
consists of two appointments which each last approximately 1-1/2 hours…the
first appointment is an interview appointment in which I gather all of the
information I need for your session such as how long you have smoked, why you
want to quit, how smoking is affecting your health/life in negative ways,
etc…an intake session.
I
also educate you fully about hypnosis, what it is and how it works before you
start your session. We’ll get rid of all the myths.
You
need to understand that hypnosis will HELP you to stop smoking, yet it will NOT
do it for you. You WILL have to do
your part by making the conscious choice not to smoke, and by listening to your
tape and doing whatever else is necessary for you to become smoke free.
The hypnosis will help you, and it can be a big help, yet it won’t do
it for you. …whether you are
successful in stopping smoking will depend upon the amount of time and energy
you are willing to put into it, the choices and decisions you make, and the
suggestions you are willing to accept and act upon.
If
you are willing to do your part and be responsible for your outcome, this
outstanding hypnosis program will help you to effectively let go of your

With
the intake appointment you also get a booklet of helpful information which
pertains to stopping smoking and also to changing habits and behaviors…because
that is what you are doing. You are

will also get a tape with the first appointment. It’s a relaxation tape which provides a sample of what the
hypnosis will be like for you so you can get used to my voice and what hypnotic
relaxation feels like. It will also
teach you a new way to respond to stress and tension, because you will not be
using cigarettes for relaxation once you no longer smoke.
You
come back the next day for your hypnotherapy session to stop smoking.
This is the point where you are finished with cigarettes.
You are also given two tapes or a CD at the end of this appointment.
One is a mini-version of your session that will help you form new habits
and behaviors as a smoke-free person, and the other is an aid for relaxation and
comfort throughout the process of becoming smoke-free.
Your body will be readjusting and restoring itself from the effects of
the tobacco poisons, and the second tape is provided as an aid for your comfort
